In 2018 DANI was an awardee of the Help Musicians Fusion Fund. The result of this funding was ‘The Silver Branch’. DANI wrote the story of The Silver Branch, which explored the contemporary debate on reproductive rights in Northern Ireland through the lens of Celtic mythology, and worked with playwright Alice Malseed who developed the story for the stage. The piece was performed in December 2018 to a sold out audience in queer arts space  The343  and was supported by  Alliance4Choice . Poster design by Sarah Pannasch.

In the summer of 2017 DANI was in residence with Indonesian percussionists KunoKini. They performed at The Matasora World Music Festival, WeTheFest and designed and delivered workshops throughout Java working with Andre Dinuth, Glenn Fredly, Svara Samsara and many more. Together they delved into Indonesia’s rich cultural history and explored new ways of working together through sound. You can watch some behind the scenes footage from the programme  here .
